"Sizzling Circle Tote" 3 Hours
The Sizzling Circle Tote is a delightful bag
with lots of charm and personality. My
Sizzling Circle technique is quick and easy with no bias edges to sew! The tote showcases two wonderful coordinating fabrics and the design can
be quickly adapted for multiple sizes and uses.

Do you have a truly spectacular fabric that you just hate to cut into?
This is the perfect place to use it! With 6 over-sized quilt blocks and a
light, medium and dark of two coordinating fabrics, we'll create the " Fabulous
Fabric Wall Hanging. I'll share my quick strip cutting and piecing methods
for over-sized quilt blocks as you quickly transform a large-scale print into a
fabulous work of art. Finished size 45"x 45"
"Snap Bag" 3 Hours

The Snap Bag is a delightful little around-town purse that
is filled with lots of charm and personality!
The Traditional Snap Bag is petite enough to carry everyday yet roomy
enough to carry the essentials such as a wallet, cell phone and keys for a night
on the town. If a larger sized bag is
what you need, try the Grand Snap Bag for extra space.
"Snap Backpack" 3 Hours

The Snap Backpack is the newest addition to the Snap Collection! It's
a roomy multi-purpose backpack loaded with pockets that uses the standard 24cm
or 9½" tubular frame. If you already have the Snap Bag, just unscrew the
frame and change the Snap Bag to the Snap Backpack. Make one to each
outfit or every mood!
"Sizzling Circle Papaya Mon" 3
Hours
Circles are a truly amazing shape, basic yet so full of possibilities!
Most of the time we avoid circles in quilting like the plague due to their
bias edges. That's what makes this a fabulous technique...No bias
edges! It's a Quilt-As-You-Go style of pattern. The circles are
finished quite quickly and the you decide to hand or machine appliqué.
"Japanese Vintage Silk Scarf" 3 Hours

With scarves an absolute rage, let's create a
Japanese vintage crazy pieced scarf! Several design ideas are included
in the pattern along with Sashiko Quilting instructions. The kit
includes the pattern, foundation and vintage silk kimono pieces to create a
unique scarf in a choice of colors. You just bring a sewing machine
and a variety of threads.
"Lounge Lizard Pants" 3 Hours
Pattern: $8.00
The Lounge Lizard Pants are based upon a rectangle and are quite quick and
fun to create. The leg may be tapered to remove extra width or left as
a palazzo pant. Make a coordinating pant for your favorite quilted
jacket or in flannel for around the house. The pants have a drawstring
waist and sizes 0 (XSm) - 5 (2X) are included in the pattern.

Fabric Quilt"

Similar to the "Fabulous Fabric Wall
Hanging" workshop with a different block design & layout. The
finished size is 72"x72" with a 4" border that can be expanded to a 9" border
[82"x82"] using the same fabulous fabric or a secondary large-scale print
fabric. If you choose two fabric families closer in color the effects is
an over all blending in the quilt. The choice of two high contrast fabric
families can create a secondary pattern within the quilt. It's really all
about the fabric!
"Sizzling Circle Fat Quarter
Quilt"
6 Hours
Circles are a truly amazing shape, basic yet so full of possibilities!
With no bias edges to sew and 40 fat quarters [includes both front & back sides]
this is the perfect place to blend your FQs for a scrappy lap quilt. The
circles are first strip cut into squares and then quickly become circles.
The circle sandwiches can be assembled in a short amount of time and the petals
are machine stitched in place with ease.
"Snap Bag
to a Backpack"
6 Hours Kit: $30.00
[Includes 2 patterns & Grand frame]
One frame does it all! In the first part of the workshop we'll be making
the Grand Snap Bag using the 24cm tubular frame. In the second part we'll use
the same frame and make it into a Backpack lots of pockets for organization.
Snap Backpack by day....Grand Snap Bag by night! You can create a matched set
or make the Snap Bag in one set of fabrics and the Snap Backpack in another.

The jacket pattern we will be using is based upon the rectangle, so the
construction is straight seam piecing. Each participant will design
and create a jacket that fits their own unique size and flair, from sedate
to elaborate! A foundation of muslin or flannel is used for the design
process, which becomes the jacket and allows the jacket to drape softly.
The goal is to make a jacket that fits your style. Sample jackets of
each size will be available for fitting and design purposes and we can
adjust each pattern for various cup sizes. Sizes 0 (XSm) - 5 (2X) are
included in each pattern.
Choose one style of jacket for the workshop!
Fees & Cancellation Policy
3 Hour Workshop:
$200.00 + travel expenses, meals and accommodations
6 Hour Workshop
Or (2) 3 Hour Workshops: $400.00
+ travel expenses, meals and accommodations
A workshop cancellation fee will not be charged for cancellation 30 days prior
to arrival. A 50% workshop cancellation fee will be assessed for
cancellation within 30 days of arrival + all prepaid travel expenses to include
hotel & airfare are the responsibility of the host and are subject to full
reimbursement if workshop is cancelled.
If we are able to re-schedule the workshop, the host is responsible for any
pre-paid travel expense change fees but a cancellation fee will not be charged.
