Golden Thyme Design Wearable patterns are based upon a rectangle and created for Quilters by a Quilter, from a quilting perspective. They are stand alone garments or they may be used as blank canvases to apply your quilted fiber art.  They require no special tools other than your quilting tools and with a few passes of a rotary cutter, provide a bit of shaping.  Each part of the garment maybe altered including the bust width, sleeve & garment length as well as the depth of the armhole.

Sizes 0 (XSm) - 5 (2X) are included with each pattern.

                                                                                            Seasonal Coat

                                                            One Fabric Pattern

The One Fabric Jacket pattern was designed around just that…one fabric! It can be made with just one fabric for the outer jacket and a coordinating fabric for the lining or use the same fabric for both as in the denim jacket. The edges maybe bound with bias or left raw. Just top stitch the edge and throw in the dryer to fray. Tapestry and Upholstery fabrics also make great jackets!

                                                                                            Keystone Pattern

The Keystone Jacket pattern is designed to showcase a large scale print fabric and at the same time give the appearance of broad shoulders and narrow hips. Many large scale print fabrics lose their impact once they are divided into sections. Here’s the perfect place to use it! The center back has a large area to showcase the design.

                                                                        Fiber Art Pattern

The Fiber Art Jacket pattern is designed for the adventurous Quilter who is looking for a blank canvas on which to create Wearable Art.  Fiber Art is a journey and yet many techniques we use to create Fiber Art alter a garment’s fit and what I call “Drapability”.  This pattern provides tools on how to create a Fiber Art Jacket that fits your style, but not what to design.  The jacket pattern includes inspiration ideas, specific sewing techniques and materials that will aide you in creating Wearable Fiber Art.
